Frequently asked questions

Answers to common managed OrbitPage questions about publishing, email, Shop, plans, workspace access and portable backups.

Last reviewed 15 October 2026

Start here when a managed page or connected service behaves differently from the editor preview. Each answer links to the complete setup or recovery guide so you can verify the result.

Why is my public page different from the preview?

The preview can show unsaved edits. Save the affected section and check the exact public address, selected workspace and publication state of additional pages, Menu or Shop. An API or ChatGPT workflow can also leave a private draft that still needs publication.

Does OrbitPage send email for me?

SaaS Shop can use managed OrbitPage email or custom SMTP. Newsletter always needs your SMTP provider. These settings are separate: a successful Shop test does not configure Newsletter. Provider acceptance does not guarantee that a recipient's inbox accepts a message.

Why can I not publish or sell from Shop?

Check the Shop-enabled plan, your editing permission, seller Compliance, Stripe connection, required review and product availability. A product draft alone is not a published offer. Follow the missing requirements displayed by Shop; subscription billing and the Stripe seller account are separate.

Why is my calendar webhook not verified?

A saved service booking link confirms that a calendar is configured. Webhook verification requires OrbitPage to receive a valid signed booking event. Generating a webhook URL alone does not confirm that it is installed in Cal.com. See Shop calendar setup.

Why is a feature missing or read-only?

Check the selected workspace, your current role and its plan. Collaborators do not automatically receive owner controls for billing, domains or deletion. Creating a new token does not expand a role or reset a quota. Ask the owner to review access before changing the integration.

Can a backup move everything between SaaS and OSS?

Page exports and portable image ZIPs cover supported page content. They do not move your subscription, team accounts, Shop orders or Newsletter audience. Keep original media and provider credentials separately, inspect imported sections and check the restored public page.

What should I send to support?

Describe the action, public page URL, time, browser and visible error. Include whether it affects the editor or published page and whether it happens in a fresh session. Remove passwords, API tokens, recovery codes, signed customer links and private buyer information from screenshots.
