Account access, security and deletion

Verify and recover sign-in, set up two-step verification, manage account preferences and understand deletion choices.

Account settings belong to your sign-in identity. Removing a personal page and deleting the whole account have different effects on workspaces where you collaborate.

Sign-in recovery

Finish verification or reset a forgotten password from the login flow.

Email-and-password accounts must verify their address before the hosted public page is available. If the verification message is missing, use the resend option shown during sign-in and check the address and spam folder.

For a forgotten password, open Login > Forgot password?, enter the account email and follow the secure link in the message. The reset request does not reveal whether an email address has an account. Contact support if the link cannot be used.

Account security

Use your own password and save authenticator recovery codes.

In Dashboard > Account, change or create a password under Security. A sensitive change can ask you to confirm your current password or Google identity again.

Under Authenticator app, select Set up authenticator, scan the QR code and enter the six-digit code. Save the one-use recovery codes in a password manager when they appear; they are not shown again. The same panel can replace codes or disable two-step verification after identity confirmation.

Preferences and access

Choose the active workspace and control optional marketing mail.

Dashboard > Account lists the workspaces you own or can access. Switching one changes the dashboard context but does not change your sign-in identity or grant a new permission.

The Account marketing preference controls OrbitPage platform updates; it is separate from any newsletter run by a workspace. Optional marketing consent can be changed there after signup.

Deletion choices

Export what you need before removing a page or account.

Dashboard > Account > Remove personal page deletes the page you own while keeping your login and collaborator roles on other workspaces. Dashboard > Account > Delete account removes the login and memberships and also starts deletion of an owned workspace. Both actions require recent identity confirmation and an explicit final confirmation.

Export a backup first if page content or media must be retained. Review the confirmation dialog carefully; deleting an account is not the way to leave just one collaborator workspace. Ask that workspace owner to remove your membership instead.
