Start a page design from a screenshot—without copying its mistakes
Use a reference screenshot to start a page design with AI, then review the visible layout, copy and links before applying the proposal.
A screenshot can communicate a visual direction faster than a long design brief. It can show spacing, color, card hierarchy and tone, but it cannot tell an assistant where hidden buttons lead or whether the source content is accurate. Treat it as a starting reference, not a finished specification.
Capture the visual idea, not another site's identity.
Choose a screenshot for its layout, rhythm or card treatment. Keep your own name, offer, imagery and voice; the useful question is which visible design decisions help your visitors understand the page.
A screenshot from your device is enough for Launch Kit to propose visible style and content. OrbitPage does not fetch the source site or inspect hidden destinations behind its controls.
Tell the editor what the screenshot cannot show.
Write down the main audience, the one action they should notice first and the links that must remain correct. Provide destinations for any buttons, icons or cards whose targets are not visible in the image.
Mark prices, dates, qualifications and other factual claims as facts to verify, not copy to improvise. A good visual reconstruction can still be a poor public page if its practical details are wrong.
Inspect the page as a visitor before applying it.
Compare the proposed text, cards, colors and order with your real goal. Check contrast, mobile reading order and whether the primary action is understandable without the screenshot beside it.
OrbitPage AI prepares a change for review. You decide whether to apply it; a screenshot should not silently replace working content or publish invented destinations.
Keep what works and remove what only looked impressive.
After the first preview, adjust the parts that serve the visitor and remove decorative elements that slow the path to booking, contact or purchase. A compact page benefits from a small number of deliberate choices.
Open the public result on a phone after publishing. The real test is whether someone who never saw the reference can identify you and take the next step.
