External modules
Add WhatsApp, GitHub, video and music players, Calendly, Typeform and Google Forms to your page.
Last reviewed 7 October 2026Connected-service blocks add an external link, player or form to your page. Create and manage the original content with its provider, then paste the public URL into OrbitPage. These blocks do not require provider API keys.
Add a connected service
Select Add content → Connected services and choose the provider. Enter its public URL, edit the title and description, then Save. For embeds, adjust Embed height and Consent category in the block settings. Save the page and check the result on the public URL.
WhatsApp and GitHub
These presets open the destination when clicked. They do not embed a conversation or repository, send messages automatically or request account access.
| Provider | What to enter |
|---|---|
| A https://wa.me/NUMBER link. Use the full international phone number with digits only, without +, spaces or brackets. Add ?text= followed by URL-encoded text for an optional prepared message. | |
| GitHub | The HTTPS URL of a profile, repository or release. Visitors need their own access to private repositories. |
YouTube and Vimeo
Use a single video that permits embedding. Provider privacy, age restrictions and domain settings still apply.
| Provider | Accepted source | Check |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | A youtube.com/watch?v=VIDEO_ID, youtu.be/VIDEO_ID, Shorts or live-video URL | The preset uses youtube-nocookie.com. A channel or playlist URL is not a single-video source. |
| Vimeo | A public vimeo.com/VIDEO_ID or player.vimeo.com/video/VIDEO_ID URL | Allow the public page's domain in Vimeo. Unlisted videos requiring an access hash are not preserved by this preset; use a normal link for those. |
Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, SoundCloud and Mixcloud
Paste the full public content URL. Playback length, availability and sign-in requirements are controlled by the provider; adding a player does not upload the original audio to OrbitPage.
| Provider | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Spotify | An open.spotify.com URL for a track, album, playlist, artist, episode or show. Use the full web URL, not a spotify: URI. |
| Apple Music | A music.apple.com URL containing its country and album, song, playlist, artist, station or music-video path. |
| Deezer | A deezer.com track, album or playlist URL with a numeric ID, or an official widget.deezer.com/widget/ URL. Expand short links first. |
| SoundCloud | A public soundcloud.com track or playlist URL, or the w.soundcloud.com/player/ URL from the official embed. |
| Mixcloud | A public mixcloud.com/profile/show/ URL for an individual show. |
Calendly, Typeform and Google Forms
Bookings and form responses stay with the provider. Configure availability, questions, notification emails and access there. A public scheduling block is separate from the calendar link delivered after a Shop service purchase.
| Provider | What to enter | Check |
|---|---|---|
| Calendly | The public https://calendly.com/name/event booking URL | Use the URL directly; the preset displays the inline booking page. |
| Typeform | A published form's public /to/FORM_ID URL from Share | US and EU Typeform URLs are supported. Use the form link, not its editor URL or popup installation script. |
| Google Forms | The full docs.google.com/forms/d/.../viewform responder URL | Publish the form and permit the intended audience. Expand forms.gle short links; /edit links are not accepted. |
Consent and troubleshooting
Audio players, Calendly and Google Forms default to Preferences consent. YouTube, Vimeo and Typeform default to Marketing. Review each block's category for your use and configure the public banner in Privacy. Necessary loads immediately; it is not a way to repair an embed that needs optional consent.
Test in a private window: reject optional categories, accept the block's category, then reopen preferences and withdraw it. If the block stays empty, check its URL, consent choice, height, provider restrictions and browser blockers. Test on the public page as well as in the editor. Providers decide whether their audio or video can autoplay.
