An event link-in-bio page should answer four questions first

Create an event page with a clear date, ticket route, venue details and a maintenance plan for sold-out or past events.

An event page has a short life and a high cost for stale information. People need the date, location and correct ticket route before a long description. A stable public address can support multiple events, but the featured details must change with the calendar.

The four questions

What, when, where and how to attend.

Put the event name, start date and time, venue or online format, and ticket or registration action together. Specify a time zone for online events or audiences that travel. If admission is free but registration is required, say so beside the action.

Give the event a concise description only after those basics. A visitor should not have to search a poster image for information that could be readable text.

Choose the route

Send visitors to the system that owns attendance.

Use the ticketing or registration service for current inventory, confirmation and access instructions. The page can provide context and a prominent handoff, but should not show an unverified seat count or price.

Keep directions, accessibility details, age requirements and contact near the booking route when they affect whether someone can attend. Link to longer policies where needed.

Handle changes

Plan for sold-out, moved and cancelled events.

Assign one person to check the public page when the event status changes. A sold-out show may need a waitlist or a clear notice; a changed venue needs updated directions as well as an updated headline.

Do not silently replace an event detail that was used in a campaign. Make important changes visible and update the ticketing system and messages that confirm attendance.

After the event

Promote the next date without erasing useful context.

Move the finished event out of the primary position, then feature the next confirmed date or a general follow route. Leave a recap only if it helps future visitors understand the venue or series.

Check old campaign links. A stable page can remain useful after the event when it clearly says what is current and where a visitor should go next.
