Stripe

Connect your Stripe seller account to Shop, finish verification and manage payments, payouts, refunds and discounts.

Stripe processes Shop payments and pays out to your connected seller account. Connect it from Shop settings and complete verification on Stripe. Your OrbitPage subscription is managed separately in Plan.

Connect the seller account

Open Shop, select the gear button, then Stripe → Connect Stripe. On first connection OrbitPage creates a connected merchant account with full Stripe Dashboard access; hosted onboarding currently supports merchants in Italy. Complete the seller's identity and bank details on Stripe's site, then return to OrbitPage. OrbitPage manages API credentials and payment webhooks; you do not paste keys or create a Stripe webhook yourself.

If verification is incomplete, select Update Stripe details to resume onboarding for the same connected account. Use Check status after returning. Payment readiness does not prove payout readiness: check bank details and outstanding payout requirements in Stripe Dashboard. If the platform activation notice appears, prepare products and contact OrbitPage support about connection availability.

  1. Use a Shop-enabled plan and a workspace role with Shop editing permission.
  2. Save Shop → Compliance before connecting Stripe so the intended public seller contacts can be used.
  3. Complete Stripe onboarding, check payment readiness and make a complete product available.
  4. Publish Shop after the required review is approved, then check the public storefront.

Live mode and test access

OrbitPage selects the payment mode for each hosted environment. There is no seller-controlled test/live switch in Shop. Changing the view in Stripe Dashboard does not change Shop's mode or reconnect it to another account. If a production workspace shows Test mode or an unexpected account, contact support before accepting sales.

Use Stripe test cards only in a separate test environment explicitly provided by OrbitPage. Availability is not guaranteed by your plan; contact support before planning a payment rehearsal. Test Checkout must show test mode. Test success does not establish live payment or payout readiness, and test cards do not work in live mode.

In that test environment, check successful and failed payments, discounts including 100%, receipt/download access, email delivery and partial/full refunds. Use controlled mailboxes and calendar events because email and booking providers can still perform real actions. Do not replace hosted credentials, reset orders or expect test data to migrate to the live workspace.

Payments and delivery

Buyers pay for one product through Stripe-hosted Checkout. The payment belongs to the connected seller account. OrbitPage verifies payment with Stripe before granting file or service access; returning to the confirmation page alone does not confirm a paid order.

Check Shop → Orders when payment or delivery is pending. Do not mark an order paid from a screenshot or resend a purchase to solve an email problem. The customer guide covers verified delivery, discounts, tax/invoice limitations and access limits.

Fees, payouts and discounts

OrbitPage does not charge commission on Shop orders or payments. Stripe processing fees are charged separately to the seller. Stripe manages settlement, payout timing and any payout restrictions; the product price is not the net payout.

Shop settings → Stripe shows the account name, balances and up to 50 recent account transactions with fees and net amounts. These are account-wide figures, so they can include activity outside OrbitPage. Use Shop → Orders for OrbitPage purchases and Stripe Dashboard for full history, payouts and bank details. Create discount codes in Shop settings → Coupons; the customer guide explains their limits and revocation.

Refunds and disputes

Issue full or partial refunds from the connected Stripe account. Check that the confirmed refund appears in Shop → Orders. Any historical OrbitPage application fee is returned proportionally when the refund is confirmed; Stripe's processing-fee treatment follows its current terms.

A full refund removes private delivery access and paid service entitlement. A partial refund preserves remaining service sessions. A refund does not cancel an appointment in Cal.com: manage that calendar booking separately. Review disputes and account verification requests in Stripe Dashboard.

Your OrbitPage subscription

The payment method used for your OrbitPage subscription and the seller account receiving Shop revenue serve different purposes. Manage subscription payments, invoices and cancellation from Plan. Use Shop → Stripe for the seller account.
