Themes, branding and card appearance

Use presets and fine controls to create a readable page across themes, backgrounds and devices.

Themes provide a coherent starting point. Fine-tuning should preserve the relationships inside that theme rather than turning every card into an unrelated design.

Start with a system

A preset coordinates background, typography and cards.

Choose the preset closest to the intended mood, then adjust only the elements that need to carry the brand. This keeps contrast, spacing and states coherent across the page.

Premium and advanced options vary by managed plan. The open-source edition exposes the application without hosted plan enforcement.

Profile

Treat the profile as the page identity, not another link card.

The profile supports creator, company and studio-oriented details, image shape and size, card border, color, transparency and liquid-glass treatments. A transparent profile works only when the background maintains readable contrast.

Use a logo for an organization and a recognizable portrait for a person. The favicon may use a separate square asset.

Card controls

Local overrides should be deliberate exceptions.

Individual cards can override the active theme with their own background, text, border, shadow, transparency or glass treatment. Reset the override when you want the card to inherit a new theme.

Check text, icon and focus contrast after any override. A card that looks subtle in the editor may disappear against a moving public background.

Background media

Motion belongs behind the content, not through it.

Images and short videos can establish atmosphere. Compress media before upload, keep movement calm and provide enough card opacity for the text above it.

Autoplay video is muted and inline because browsers generally block unsolicited audio. Always provide a static fallback color or image.
